How to Use Manifest

Manifest activities fall into three categories: KNOW, DO, and MAKE.  Each type allows students to engage with and learn mathematics in a different way.

KNOW Activities

KNOW activities help learners know the definitions of math concepts.  They expose learners to examples of a concept as well as non-examples.

DO Activities

DO activities help learners translate between the three representations of a concept.

MAKE Activities

MAKE activities help learners be creative with the math they learn.  They ask learners to use mathematical simulations to imagine new possibilities.
