The variable x represents time and f(x) represents the vertical position of the object. To use the simulation:
1. Enter a function in the ” $latex f(x)=$ ” box that will convert time into vertical position.
2. Set the minimum and maximum time in the boxes to the left and right of ” $latex \leq x \leq$ “.
3. Set the minimum and maximum vertical position in the boxes to the left and right of ” $latex \leq f(x) \leq$ “.
4. Play the simulation by pressing the play button in the lower left corner or by sliding the slider.
5. You can also set the time exactly by entering a number in the ” $latex x=$ ” box.
